Nip Tuck DVD

Nip Tuck fans have been waiting a long time for this.  The Nip Tuck season 5 dvd set was first promised back in May '08.  Now that it is 6 months later and still no dvd set, but we have hope.  the release date has been anounce for Tuesday, December 30 2008.  That is great news for those of us who want to get the Nip Tuck dvd just in time to spend new years eve in front of the tv with our favorite series.

Season 5 of the popular Nip/Tuck brought some major changes to the show. The season begins with the McNamara/Troy partnership and all of their friends relocated to Los Angeles. There, they quickly see that they’re going to need a bit of publicity in order to attract new clients, and so they hire Fiona McNeil, a publicist with plans for the pair. Her first move? To get them a job as advisers on a popular soap about plastic surgeons. This leads to the introduction of the cast of Hearts ‘n Scalpels, including leading man Adrian Stone and the show’s executive producer, among others.

While the first part of season five chronicles the adventures of the duo in Hollywood, it’s not all work for the characters. Julia returns, but it’s not exactly a happy reunion with Sean since she brings Olivia, her new lover, with her. Not only does Sean have to deal with that, he has to deal with Olivia’s daughter Eden and her manipulation of Annie. Matt pops up in LA as well, but instead of a lover, he brings baby Jenna with him. He’s also left Kimber, he claims, but it turns out he has a reason for wanting tons of cash, and that reason isn’t Jenna, it’s crystal meth. While he and Kimber are doing drugs together for a bit, Kimber does leave him to marry Ram.

There’s a lot more to Season 5 of Nip/Tuck, including the explosive ending when Colleen escaped from the mental ward and tries to kill Sean and Julia is rushed to the hospital after she’s shot.
